Meet Stacey

What was life like before bariatric surgery?

Weight stopped me from paddle boarding, which is something my husband loved doing and I always wanted to do. My legs and feet always hurt! The swelling was miserable. My clothes were tight. I had high blood pressure, constant bloating and insulin resistant.

If you put off the decision to come in for a long time, why was that? What kept you from booking a consultation?

I thought about it a year before and made a decision to save my money, and get it done. I also started a healthier journey food wise.

What was it like to work with the team, from the start of your journey to today?

Fabulous team! Doctors and nurses very caring and very diligent!

What is your life like now? What’s the #1 thing you love being able to do now?

I can paddle board! Standing up and getting up and down the board is easy! Also I have lost 40 lbs and look and feel better. Blood pressure is fine and no longer insulin resistant.

I can paddle board!
