What was life like before bariatric surgery?
I had no success on the weight loss diets. I went to gyms and tried just about everything out there. It was beyond frustrating and I just kept gaining more and more weight. I was diagnosed in 2020 as pre diabetic and that diagnosis helped me understand as to why I had such an issue. My weight didn’t change much, even with the new medication that’s on the market this lead me to Dr Peterson.
If you put off the decision to come in for a long time, why was that? What kept you from booking a consultation?
I was informed of the surgery from my PCP and then from that visit I went to see Dr Peterson and we talked about the whole procedure and I felt it was the right decision for me.
What was it like to work with the team, from the start of your journey to today?
The team has been supportive and very understanding.
What is your life like now? What’s the #1 thing you love being able to do now?
I feel so good! I don’t have a bloating problem I can move around comfortably and I fit into my clothes and I’m not constantly searching for
food. When I eat I feel full and happy. I don’t have headaches and that feeling that I need more food for energy. It’s been a huge life changing experience for me and I would recommend this surgery and Dr Peterson and his staff.
I feel so good!Maria
