A Texas native, Dr. Neichoy grew up in High Island, a picturesque coastal town near Galveston. In 2003, he earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University and then received his medical degree from the University of Texas in Houston.
Upon receiving his M.D. in 2007, Dr. Neichoy began his general surgery training in Gainesville, Florida where he received extensive training in advanced minimally invasive and laparoscopic weight loss surgery techniques. Dr. Neichoy is board-certified as a general surgeon, a delegate for the Texas Medical Association, as well as a proud member of the American College of Surgeons.
