What was life like before bariatric surgery?
My weight stopped me from enjoying life. I love walking, hiking, hunting, and boxing. My knees and joints were hurting so bad I couldn’t enjoy the things in life I love.
If you put off the decision to come in for a long time, why was that? What kept you from booking a consultation?
I had considered surgery for the last couple of years, but until my legs got so bad I couldn’t work out and could no longer enjoy the things I love or even work without pain, I decided I had to go for it.
What was it like to work with the team, from the start of your journey to today?
The PWLC team was awesome from the very first day; they explained everything to me and what to expect, and they were always a phone call away if I needed something.
What is your life like now? What’s the #1 thing you love being able to do now?
I’ve been able to walk and hike again. We went to Germany and visited six different castles walking about 5 miles a day.
