Meet Daniel

Daniel's weight loss transformation

What was life like before bariatric surgery?

After seeing my 2020 anniversary picture, I became aware of how big I had become. January 1, 2021. I weighed 414 lbs. December 31, 2021, I currently weigh 287 lbs. The ability to bend over and pick something off the floor is small; however, the realization is impactful. The ability to tie my shoes and feel comfortable around others has helped my mental and physical well-being. Thank you, Dr. Bo Neichoy and Panhandle Weight loss Center staff.

If you put off the decision to come in for a long time, why was that? What kept you from booking a consultation?

The final realization of my size and the inabilities of normalcy.

What was it like to work with the team, from the start of your journey to today?

I won’t lie; I was extremely nervous from the beginning up till the morning of surgery. Dr. Bo Neichoy walked into my room and prayed with me. Dr Bo made all the difference.

What is your life like now? What’s the #1 thing you love being able to do now?

Feeling completely comfortable being in public.
